The distinctly Hawaiian plants display the classical essence of the tropics. Bright red blossoms contrast beautifully with the waxy, luscious broad leaves. Classified as a Red Anthurium. These are very hardy plants, especially if they are kept indoors and are taken care of by loving owners. Unlike other flowers sent as gifts such as roses or lilies that die in a week or two, Anthuriums can successfully flourish for months on end.

Water once a week by pouring directly over lava rock & roots
Artificial light can be used to supplement natural light for your HauLava Plants. No Direct sunlight or incandescent lights. The heat may damage your plant.
Keep leaves free from dust. Light can be blocked by dust on leaf surface. Pokon leaf shine can be applied weekly to reduce the dust from adhering to the leaf surface.
Fertilize once a month by adding a drop of household fertilizer to the water before adding to the HauLava plants.
Grooming helps to keep it healthy. Simply remove brown tips or dying leaves by using pruning sheers. Never tear leaves from plant. This could result in injury to the stem.
Bottled or drinking water to water plants because the Salts from water tend to build up over time causing the rock to turn a chalk white color and can be harmful to the HauLava plants.
Blooms: there is no guarantee that your HauLava plant will re-bloom. Unfortunately, not all do. With the right care it is possible that it could bloom multiple time throughout the year
